WOW! OK - as a mother and a teacher, this leaves a knot in my throat. I wonder how many teachers would change the way they do things (or learn ways to change) if they saw this. Inspiring - but also documented. I liked seeing that bibliography at the end. That bibliography ALSO reminded me that creating video like this would be an EXCELLENT way for kids to build a persuasive argument built on facts but incorporating a sense of tone and style. Thanks for sharing this!

That was a very moving video. Thanks for sharing it. I was shocked at some of the statistics, and then, also, not shocked. Maybe disappointed, frustrated, and sad are better words. Students can tell stories so well using new literacies. There is something about adding music to pictures and words that makes it so much more powerful.
